These photos describe an intimate wedding at Castello di Montegufoni in Tuscany.
It was mid-October when we first entered the courtyard of the Castello di Montegufoni, not far from Florence, and we were enchanted by the long history and authentic beauty of those stones and those rooms.
Irene and Lee are Canadians and with a few close friends they chose to marry here, in Italy, fully enjoying an autumn day on the Tuscan hills.
We care about this marriage. They, in addition to being a beautiful couple in all senses, have completely relied on us, on our phoptography, on our vision of their day and their emotions. It does not always happen but when it is so empathy is the master and allows us to amalgamate ourselves to the event, to make us both spectators and participants. We observe, we think, we move. We are looking for new perspectives that reflect the sensations of those moments, which do not forget the fabulous scenery, which reflect the joy of the protagonists. When we are granted total freedom, we feel paradoxically even more tied to these people. Even for just a few hours.
The symbolic ceremony was celebrated it was celebrated in a covered wing of the court of the castle and the atmosphere, with all those lighted candles, was really romantic. Then an aperitif with typical Tuscan cuisine, and a walk in the castle gardens. Wild and neat, with hidden caves and statues. A unique surprise.
Sparkles to introduce the wedding dinner and then speeches, words of love and distant and close memories.
A wonderful intimate wedding at Castello di Montegufoni and bread for our teeth. Wedding photography will never fail to give us stimuli, challenges, emotions.
Congratulations guys! And a big thank you also to Valentina, their wedding planner, a precious help.
